Equipment Loans

Technologies in Education's Equipment Loaning program provides short-term loans of equipment for Faculty, Instructors and Staff within the Faculty of Education for professional development and research purposes. (Equipment for classroom use can be borrowed by students and instructors from IST by contacting the Help Desk)

  • Labquest 2 Connected Science System:
    Vernier LabQuest 2 is a standalone interface used to collect sensor data with its built-in graphing and analysis application. The large, high-resolution touch screen makes it easy and intuitive to collect, analyze, and share data from experiments. Its wireless connectivity encourages collaboration and personalized learning. You can also use LabQuest 2 as a computer interface using Logger Pro software for advanced analysis and video features.

Portable Apple iPad Learning Lab

In support of the exploration of emerging technologies, Technologies in Education has secured a Portable Apple iPad Learning Lab. Our lab includes 30 iPad devices and a sturdy and secure mobile cart. This lab gives your students immediate and continuous access to a rich variety of educational content, the web for research, tools that help them creatively express their knowledge, and much more. We have over 60 apps preloaded on each device including music and visual tools (such as iMovie and GarageBand), Math, library search tools, note taking, and much more.
