Shifting Your Classes Online
As we prepare to offer the majority of classes online for the Winter 2021 semester, Technologies in Education has prepared some guides to help you prepare for online delivery.- We have a timeline to help you make a plan to access services and support for the Fall semester.
- We have a guide that covers the key features within eClass to assist you in getting your eClass up and running.
- Building on some of the recent presentations at the Remote Learning Conference, we have also outlined some best practices around Synchronous and Asynchronous Delivery and also around Assessment Strategies.
If you have any questions or are interested in setting up a consultation, please contact Technologies in Education at techined@ualberta.ca.
Equipment Loans
We are still offering a limited number of equipment loans to faculty and staff in the Faculty of Education that need to work remotely.
Please note that any loans will have to be prearranged and approved as we cannot accommodate any drop-in loans support at this time.
Please email tedmedia@ualberta.ca to arrange your loan.
Laptop Loans for Students
The Office of the Dean of Students has a limited supply of Chromebooks that can be lent to U of A students. Due to the limited numbers of Chromebooks, this lending program will be conducted via a referral system.
