Introduction

Slideshare is a simple fun way to create, share and present your ideas in a new and engaging way.

Slideshare is online slide hosting service; its main purpose is to share presentations. This is a great resource to connect with others, conduct research, download presentations as well as share your presentations privately or with the world via social media.

Things You'll Need
  • A valid email address.

  • An Internet connection.

  • A presentation you want to upload.

  • A presentation idea you want to find.

Steps

    Sign up for a basic account which is free or a Pro account for a fee.

    Click on your profile icon in the top right corner, click view my profile page and click edit profile. Under contact information you can paste links to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. From her you can also edit yoru profile setttings.

    If you would want to upload a presentation, click upload, find your file and click open.

    Fill in each box accordingly, the more detail the more viewers. Only SlideShare Pro users can make their files private.

    Click Save & Continue.

    You can share your presentation via the embed code or Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, or email.

    To edit, delete or change your presentations click on your profile icon, click my uploads. Your presentations will appear, to edit/delete etc. click on edit.

    Once posted you are able to view your statistics and see how many people have viewed your presentation, embedded it, liked and more.

Tips
  • Once you sign up you can browse the hundreds of posted SlidesShares, upload your own or begin following on the newsfeed.

  • When browsing you can select featured, popular, most liked and more. Or if you have a topic in mind, enter it into the search engine.
