Introduction

The University of Alberta's library system is extensive and one of the best you'll find. Each library offers computer work stations, scanning, printing and copying, and very helpful, tech savvy staff.

The Library’s website is also a powerful resource. In addition to the accessing the library catalogue, you’ll find:

      • library guides for your courses
      • an amazing collection of online material, tips and tutorials
      • RefWorks, an online tool to collect and manage references as well as generate appropriately formatted bibliographies!
Tips
  • The Coutts Education Library  is the primary resource library for the faculties of Education and Physical Education. It is located on the main floor of Education South in room L-107. The library also houses an AICT Multimedia Lab.

  • Rutherford Library is the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and is the main library for the Faculty of Education's School for Library and Information Science (SLIS). It is located across the street from the Education buildings. Rutherford houses two AICT computer labs.
